Treasure Tannery
Treasure is a diverse therapeutic mentor with a focus on high level executive functioning combined with a deep understanding of trauma and the challenges of being a fully embodied human. Treasure, and her very sweet, but constantly worried sidekick, Lucinda (pictured here), work from a systemic and trauma informed perspective to help clients understand where their struggles come from and why seemingly minor experiences can have major impacts. Treasure also prefers to include the family system in her work as much as possible, as she understands the impacts of systems on individuals and the impact of individuals on family systems. Treasure has a masters degree in Applied Psychology with an emphasis in Family Systems Therapy from Regis University. Treasure has been working in the mental health and recovery world for the past 6 years. Treasure also has her bachelor's degree in Business Administration and continues to also work in the business world, designing and marketing for Therapedic Mattress. The combination of her business world life and her mental health work bring a distinct combination of life skills and therapeutic understanding to Treasure's mentoring work. Treasure is the mom to an awesome 16-year old daughter. In her free time you will find Treasure often in a volleyball gym supporting her daughter's sport - on a road bike in the spring, summer, and fall - traveling a bunch - and camping whenever she can fit it in. Treasure never grows tired of warm sunshine or exploring new cities.
