She has previous experience as a counselor at a Denver-area public school, a field guide at Pacific Quest, and a therapist at Calo, a residential treatment program specializing in young adults suffering from developmental trauma. Selina finds working with young adults fulfilling on multiple levels; she feels that helping to guide young people toward utilizing their gifts can be invigorating and very fulfilling.

Selina grew up among the lakes and forests of rural Michigan, which contributed to her love of the outdoors. She enjoys rock-climbing and trail-running around Boulder, which she has come to call home.
