A native of Sausalito, California, Matthew moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science. His previous work experience includes tutoring at Boulder’s Dreamcatcher Direct Instruction Center, as well as teaching at both Denver Justice and Boulder Justice High Schools, programs for at-risk students in Boulder and Adams County. After three years as the Academic and Vocational Coordinator, Matthew became the Program Director for AIM House.
As Director, Matthew most enjoys getting to know more about his fellow staff, and helping participants transition and learn new life skills. He is an avid reader and sports fan who can be heard on a weekly sports podcast with Danny Conroy.
